A New Journey: Nangobabalo Nartjie Ngcebetsha’s Story

Nangobabalo Nartjie Ngcebetsha, a determined N5 student at King Hintsa TVET
College in Dutywa, faced many challenges due to her physical disability. Despite these obstacles, she never let them define her or limit her dreams. Her passion for learning and her resilience inspired everyone around her.

One sunny morning, Nangobabalo’s life took a significant turn when she received a
brand-new wheelchair from the college. This was not just any wheelchair; it represented freedom, independence, and the opportunity to navigate her world more easily. As she rolled it into her classroom for the first time, a wave of excitement washed over her.

Unable to contain her joy, Nangobabalo quickly took to social media to express her gratitude. She posted a heartfelt message thanking the Support Services and Student Support Services (SSS) unit at King Hintsa TVET College, as well as NSFAS, for their unwavering support for students with disabilities. Her words resonated with many, highlighting the importance of accessibility and inclusion in education.

“Thank you, King Hintsa TVET College and NSFAS! With my new wheels, I feel empowered to chase my dreams even more fiercely!” she wrote, accompanied by a photo of her beaming with pride, seated in her bright new wheelchair.
